Spektrometri AT1316 (tuolityyppinen) on tarkoitettu gammasäteilyn energiajakauman tutkimiseen, gammaa säteilevien radionuklidien tunnistamiseen ja myös koko kehon ja keuhkojen sisältämien gammaa emittoivien radionuklidien aktiivisuuden mittaamiseen.
Spektrometri on paikallaan oleva laboratoriomittauslaite, joka voidaan myös sijoittaa kuljetettavan laboratorion erityiseen ajoneuvoon.

Spektrometrien toimintaperiaate perustuu ihmiskehossa olevien radionuklidien lähettämien gamma-kvanttien rekisteröintiin sopivan tyyppisellä ilmaisimella, joka lähettää sähköisen impulssin amplitudilla, joka on verrannollinen havaitun gammakvantin energiaan.
Spektrometri AT1316 on kalibroitu koko kehon fantomeilla ( universaali tai antropomorfinen ) tai käyttämällä ohjelmistoa MCC-MT (Monte-Carlo-simulaatio).

The energy range of measuring distribution of gamma radiation : 50 to 3000 keV.
The relative energy resolution of the spectrometer for the line 661.7 keV of radionuclide Cs-137 does not exceed 9%.
The integral nonlinearity of the spectrometer with gamma detectors is ±1.0% in the energy range of 50 to 3000 keV.
The detection efficiency of the detector BDEG-150-100 is no less than 7.5% in the full-energy peak 661.7 keV of radionuclide Cs-137 at 50 mm from the upper surface of the detector.
The measurement ranges of activity of incorporated radionuclides with the external gamma background with ambient dose rate of no more than 0.2 µSv/h :
- Cs-137 in body : from 80 Bq to 750 kBq;
- Cs-134 in body : from 60 Bq to 400 kBq;
The expanded uncertainty for the activities measurement is no more than 15% (k=2).
The minimum measurable activity (MMA) for measurement time 3 min:
- Cs-137 and Cs-134 in body : 300 Bq.
